I’ve confessed my love for a good slogan t before– having a word, or a motto splashed across your chest (ooh er, that unintentionally sounded very raunchy. Sorry!) can feel empowering, remind us of how to behave, or can give us a little motivation. & That can never go out of fashion, can it?
Developing an unhealthy fondness of Instagram, has introduced me to brands I may have possibly have missed had I not connected on the social media platform with other bloggers, & mamas alike. It’s a place I really do escape to & find inspiration from.
Someone who I’ve followed for a while is Hayley, one part of the duo from Breath Happiness (I recommend their blog & some others you should check out here). I’ve heard the saying ‘Your vibe attracts your tribe’ & this rings true to me with Hayley: Positivity attracts positivity. A women with many strings to her bow, from owning a vintage ice cream van, to her current online concept store (Southwood Stores stocking a range of Scandinavian influenced gifts & homewears) She recently launched her own range of women’s apparel, with the philosophy ‘Apparel that is more than just a label, it’s a statement’. Designed to celebrate strong women. & It certainly does! I love all the different empowering words used.
I posted the image above on Instagram the other day, with this caption:

Another lady & brand who thoroughly deserves a mention here too is Molly Gunn:
She’s the brains behind ‘blogzine’ Selfish Mother & A stylish range of clothing (T-shirts & hoodies for mamas/ sistas & the kiddos) the proceeds of which go to Women for Women International – a charity that helps women in 8 war-torn regions rebuild their lives through training programmes. Fashion with a conscience- that kind of style will never fade. The tough decision is which piece to go for?
Click HERE to check out the entire range (prices start at £18 for kids, up to £45 for adults hoodies)
So whataya’ waiting foooooor? Go get your mits on some awesome apparel, & support entrepreneurial mamas & charities in the process. BOO YA. (I’ve no idea why I kep going all street on your ass?!)
